Rahul Singh Shyam was born in Patangarh in 1988. He was trained under Bhajju Shyam from 2014 before he became independent. Rahul looks at the difference between the world of his ethnic community and that of others, and illustrates the interesting aspects of their tribal culture in a unique touch. His technique-In the homes of tribal village, there has always been decorations made on the walls of the images of animals, birds, trees etc by the help of mud. Similarly in the festivals the Courtyards of the house, worship place is also decorated with mud, geru, colours that is call digna. In older days for this used natural colours but now at present time Everyone use acrylic colour, fabric colour, readymade Brush, pen which help easy to finish work soon. He also uses all these in my paintings. His Signature motif/Pattern are two pattern you have to see most. One is Tringale between two lines and second one is ovel shap, where point on top of the ovel and one-line draw in down side along with point. How did he find his signature motif/pattern-he got his first Tringale pattern through tribal fishing net call Gheera. In earlier days when he was thinking about his pattern his imagination had gone to his granny's village where he gone to caught fishes in to the river. For catching fish, he used this special type of net which is in Tringale shape. In between Tringale there is the net, he put into the river and pulled up. Therefore, so many drops of water fall down to the net. That gave him idea of his second pattern.
