In my artwork, I aim to provoke contemplation on the importance of preserving our planet, which we refer to as Dhartari. Earth is a unique celestial body, teeming with life and providing a hospitable environment for diverse creatures to thrive. As tribal people, we have long revered the earth for its role in sustaining our existence and nourishing us with food and water. However, in modern times, human society has begun to inflict harm on the earth. In my painting, I symbolise the earth with a tortoise, representing its slow and steady movement towards destruction, paralleling the gradual impact of human activities. Urgent action is needed to protect our planet, as continued negligence will result in irreversible damage to all living beings. Therefore, the message is clear: save the earth, save nature.
