As a tribal individual, I've long revered the energy inherent in nature, considering it paramount for the sustenance of all living beings. In our tribal tradition, we worship nature as our deity, with the tiger god, known as Vaghya Dev or Gaavdev, holding a central place in our society. Positioned at the village border, this deity serves as a protector and is revered and worshipped by the villagers. As an artist, I've endeavoured to capture the profound energy I feel whenever I visit this sacred site, depicting it in my paintings as a testament to the spiritual connection between our community and the natural world.
